At Retake, we believe your watch history is personal. We are committed to being "Privacy First," meaning we only collect what is strictly necessary to make the app work, and we never sell your data to advertisers.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our social tracking features, we collect the following limited information:

• Account Information: Your email address and username (for authentication).
• User Content: The movies/shows you log, your ratings, reviews, and watchlists.
• Social Connections: Who you follow and who follows you.
• Uploaded Media: Profile pictures or images you upload for "Vision" detection.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

• To maintain your personal watch history and statistics.
• To facilitate social features (e.g., showing your friends what you watched in the Activity Feed).
• To provide "Vision" features (identifying shows from images you upload).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, an industry-standard backend-as-a-service. All data in transit is encrypted via SSL/TLS.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Edit/Delete: You can edit or delete any history log, review, or rating at any time.
• Account Deletion: You can request full account deletion directly in the app via Profile > Danger Zone > Delete Account. This permanently removes your personal data from our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

Retake is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
